Like some anime, Please Twins (and it's counterpart Please Teacher) is based in an actual real location, Lake Kizaki in northwestern Japan.

There are several web sites that show pictures of prominent locations used in the anime. Here's a good one.

It's a lot of fun to check it out if you're a fan of the show. It's amazing how detailed and accurate the locations are!
