Like many people, I'm a big fan of Masumune Shirow's work. (Ghost in the Shell, Appleseed, Ghost Hound, etc.) His wonderfully complex sci-fi aesthetic, extraordinarily detailed mechanical designs, and over-the-top cyber-sexy heroines and heroes, make for quite compelling manga and anime. So I was very happy to get this layout pan sketch of Deunan and Briareos from the 1988 OVA. In the immortal words of Penguinton, "Cyborg love is the only true love!"
