Particularly resonant in light of the devastating quake and tsunami on March 11 2011, Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 is a very moving and carefully crafted story about a young girl and her little brother trying to get home after a massive earthquake centered in Tokyo leaves them separated from their parents. Gut-wrenchingly sad in parts, uplifting in others, this is about as close as you can get to the personal tragedy of such a disaster without actually being there.
